About

This video features Ava, Ben, Madison, and Drew teaching kids about severe weather. It describes how to stay safe during floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, heat waves, and winter storms. Key tips include staying informed with alerts on TV or radio and having a Family Emergency Kit ready. During hurricanes or tornadoes, seek shelter away from windows; in heat waves or cold snaps, stay indoors as much as possible. Families should make a plan for emergencies and practice it regularly to be prepared for any disaster that might occur in their area.
