This 8-page data brief presents key facts and figures about children who have migrated or been displaced. As of 2016, 28 million children were living in forced displacement due to conflict and violence, including refugees and asylum seekers. An additional 7 million were displaced by natural disasters. Many other children moved for better opportunities. It describes UNICEF's efforts to address these issues through their Agenda for Children on the Move and highlights challenges in collecting data on migrant children.
