About
This study explores the link between trauma exposure, sleep problems, resilience, and PTSD symptoms in adolescents following an earthquake in China. Findings suggest that sleep problems partially mediate the relationship between earthquake exposure and PTSD symptoms. Resilience plays a moderating role in this relationship, with lower resilience levels correlating with higher PTSD symptoms. The study highlights the importance of addressing sleep issues and enhancing resilience through interventions to mitigate PTSD symptoms in individuals exposed to traumatic events like earthquakes.
