About
This article describes the implementation process related to the EnRiCH Research Lab in Ottawa-Gatineau, a program for youth to engage in disaster risk reduction (DRR). The youth research team uses an education program to involve youth in DRR efforts in Canada and collaborate with various organizations to educate the community. Outcomes include creating training modules, a children's book, an educational video, and giving conference presentations. This program shows that youth can help with disaster preparedness through education and knowledge sharing at a grassroots level.Tags
