This document provides guidance from healthcare stakeholders who shared how lessons learned during the heat dome event in 2021 informed a 2022 response and how robust regional and local collaboration and communications during the pandemic facilitated connections during the heat wave in the summer of 2022. This is a whole community lessons learned document that captures an interview on the real-world extreme heat events in Seattle and how the healthcare system and hospitals responded to these events.
